Terms of use

The terms on which this site is provided, what our information is and is not, and the limits of our role as a marketing introducer rather than a debt adviser.

Information, not advice

Everything on this site is general information about UK debt solutions. It is not advice about your circumstances and must not be relied on as such. Debt solutions have significant and lasting consequences, and the right route depends on facts about your finances that a website cannot know. Always take advice from an appropriately authorised person before making a decision.

Accuracy

We take considerable care with accuracy, cite our sources, and review pages on a published cycle. Law, thresholds and fees change, sometimes at short notice. Where a figure matters to a decision you are making, check it against the primary source we have cited.

Our role

We are a marketing introducer. We do not provide debt advice or debt solutions. If you consent, we pass your details to one FCA-authorised firm. We are not responsible for the advice that firm gives, though we do want to know if it was poor — see complaints.

We link to free advice charities, regulators and government sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, though we choose them carefully.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
