Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. Here is where we are and how to tell us if something does not work for you.

Our commitment

People reach a debt website in distress, often at night, often on an old phone with a cracked screen and a poor connection. Accessibility is not a compliance exercise here — it is the difference between someone getting help and giving up.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page.
  • Colour contrast meeting WCAG 2.2 AA across all text and interface elements.
  • Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator throughout.
  • Reduced motion respected — all animation is disabled if your device requests it.
  • Text resizable to 200% without loss of content or function.
  • Form fields with associated labels and error messages that say what is wrong.
  • No content that flashes, no auto-playing media, no time limits.

Tell us if something does not work

Email accessibility@mydebtcleared.co.uk and tell us what happened, on what device. We will respond within five working days and we treat accessibility faults as bugs, not feature requests.
